Before you decide to clear all cookies on your Android device, you need to be aware that if you do, any websites you use afterwards will need to log in again.

Since most Android devices use the Chrome browser, here’s how to use that browser, and if you’re using a different browser, the steps are roughly the same.

1. Launch the Chrome app.

2. In the top right corner, click the three-dot menu and then click Settings.

3. Click Privacy & Security.

4. Click Clear browsing data.

How to clear cookies from a website on Android

Of course, you can also clear cookies associated with individual websites instead of all websites stored on your Android device.

1. Launch the Chrome app and open the website where you want to clear cookies.

2. At the top right, tap the three-dot menu, then tap the I icon in the top row.

3. Click cookies.
