You may often feel irritable because you have to convert several or more Microsoft word documents to Google Docs individually, in fact, you don’t have to do this, we will provide you with more efficient methods, let’s take a look:
Word documents are converted to Google Documents
In google drive, there is an option to convert all uploaded files to google docs editor format. It is very powerful to convert Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files into Google’s docs, worksheets, and slide formats, respectively. Other formats such as OpenOffice are also supported, but Apple’s iWork format is not included for the time being.
Keep in mind that this will only convert files that are uploaded after the option is enabled. If your file has already been uploaded, download it to your computer.
Launch your Google Drive, click on the cog icon at the top, and select “Settings”
Select the “Convert uploaded files to Google Docs Editor Format” option in the Settings window. Then, in the upper right corner of the window, click “Finish.”
Next, go to the google drive sidebar, click “New” and select “File upload” to upload all the Word or Office files you want to convert.
Google will automatically convert your uploaded file to the correct format.
If you don’t want to convert files automatically anymore, you can come to Google Drive again, check the cog icon at the top and select “Settings”. Cancel “Convert uploaded files to Google Docs Editor Format” and you’re good to go.
I believe you have learned all the above operations, and hopefully at some point, it will make your work easier and easier!
