Advances in artificial intelligence technology have turned the concept of computer writing for you from science fiction to reality. Now, there are plenty of online tools and programs that can generate everything from emails to full blog posts at the push of a button.
Many of these tools and programs can even be integrated directly into your Google Chrome as extensions, so you can access them wherever you browse and whatever you’re writing.
Below, there is five very good software for you to try.
1. Writecream
On this list, we have Writecream. Writecream is an extension of Google Chrome that you can easily install and use from the Chrome web store to get more out of your writing.
To get started, you’ll need an account, but registration is quick and simple, can be managed entirely from the extensions menu, and you can access them in the same location as any regular extension.
Once you’re registered, Writecream will make your writing easier. You’ll see a menu showing all the different tools Writecream has for you, and there really are a lot of them.
Writecream has over 35 different tools at your disposal, such as email personalization, blog creative, social media post headers, title generators, and more. Depending on what you want from Writecream, you might want to take a look at these tools for yourself, but with so many options, you’re sure to find something you can use.
Unfortunately, AI writing can never replace humans, so once you’ve chosen the output you want, you’ll need to give Writecream some information to get started. It’s not a lot, usually just a website link or brand name related to the type of content you want Writecream to generate for you. From there, the extension handles the rest, generating the content of your choice.
It’s worth noting, however, that Writecream isn’t a free service. You’ll get a starting balance to see what Writecream can offer you, but from there you’ll need to pay a monthly subscription fee (starting at $29 per month) to upgrade your plan.
2. HyperWrite
Next, we have HyperWrite. If you’re worried about availability or being able to keep up, then HyperWrite is a good option to get started.
Once you’ve downloaded HyperWrite and signed up for its service, you’ll see a handy set of tips asking how you plan to use it and what other services to use with. This helps ensure that HyperWrite provides you with the correct type of content.
From there, you’ll get a tutorial that shows you some of the more useful features of HyperWrite. If you’re not sure exactly what you want from the AI writing extension, that’s fine.
Once you’ve read HyperWrite’s auto-writing, TypeAhead, ReWrite, and AI personalization features, you’ll be able to use HyperWrite in the way you see fit.
The great thing about HyperWrite is how it integrates directly into your existing writing process. You don’t have to go to great lengths to use it. Instead, it automatically appears on almost any online writing platforms you might be using, such as Gmail, Google Docs, and many others.
3. Scalenut
If you’re looking for something that integrates directly into your writing while generating AI-generated files and templates, then Scalenut might be what you’re looking for.
On the Scalenut dashboard, you have access to a ton of different AI tips that you can come up with and let this Chrome extension produce for you. For example, you can use these templates to quickly generate content briefs, product descriptions, and so on.
However, if you’re more focused on improving your own writing, you can use Scalenut’s comprehensive writing feature. For example, when writing an email, you might want to try to tune what you’re writing with various features like AI-driven rewording or simplification tools.
You can also choose a template here. Maybe you’re not sure how to start an email, or maybe you’re not sure how to complete a blog post. Either way, Scalenut has tons of tools to help you create what you’re after.
4. AISEO
Next up is AISEO, a great little extension with a good range of features. If you’re looking for something that can help you expand your writing or improve your content without being overwhelmed by its options, then AISEO is a great place to start.
AISEO effectively has seven modes that you can use. Unlike many of the best online AI tools for content creation, you can enter these modes from any text input on the web and a small pop-up window appears at the bottom right of the box.
There are tools to tweak some of the more basic structure of your sentences, such as paraphrasing what you’ve written, expanding what you’ve written to make it longer, or shortening it to make it more concise.
There are also tools to adjust the tone to make any sentence sound more formal or to make your text sound more creative and creative.
If you’re not sure what to write, there are also tools to try writing something from scratch, and even finish the last part of the content for you if you’re stuck at the conclusion or end.
5. Compose AI
Finally, we have Compose AI. If you’re more interested in using AI writing extensions to help you write emails and perhaps occasionally write about Slack messages, then Compose AI is a great tool to do just that.
Compose AI advertises itself as an AI that writes emails for you, which is a good indicator of where its strengths are and how to play to it. Using it is also very simple. All you need to do is open an email and you will find the prompt in the existing window.
Compose AI will ask you what you want to write, and if you’re not sure exactly what to ask the AI, there are even examples to help you get the feeling.
From there, the AI synthesizer will generate several different email options for you to choose from. You can easily generate more options at any time, and once you find an option that suits you, all you have to do is select it and it will be automatically entered into your email.
Work smarter rather than harder
As you can see, there are a variety of different AI writer extensions available for Google Chrome. You can easily try them out at any time because they are easy to install and uninstall in an instant.
