The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are probably the most expensive iPhone phones ever made

The iPhone 13 maintains the pricing structure of its predecessors, even as the world grapples with price increases in most goods and services brought about by inflation. But Apple will react to this situation this year, in short, raising prices for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max products. That’s what several rumors earlier this year claimed. And now there’s a new report that the price increase of the iPhone 14 Pro model is inevitable.

A leaker posted on Twitter what was said to be a spec sheet for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The hardware parameters mostly meet expectations, although there may be some errors in the following listing. But the price estimate is in line with previous rumors.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will offer the same core specs. What we see is the same A16 bionic processor, four storage options from 128GB to 1TB, a 120Hz OLED display with always-on area support, and a 48MP main camera. The smaller model will come with a 6.1-inch screen and a 3200 mAh battery. The iPhone 14 Pro Max will come with a 6.7-inch display and a 4323 mAh battery.

The leaker’s claim that the two phones will come with 8GB of RAM seems suspicious. Almost all other reports say the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 6GB of RAM. Leakers say the iPhone 14 Pro will start at $1,099. That’s $100 more expensive than last year. So, the price of the 128GB iPhone 14 Pro Max will be $1199. Similarly, we saw the price rise by $100.

That could make the iPhone 14 Pro Max the most expensive iPhone in history, with the highest capacity at the top could cost as much as $1699.

These pricing details are in line with the January report of The LeavesApplePro. In addition, Mark Gullman wrote an article earlier this year in which he said the iPhone 14 Plus/Max would be at least $200 cheaper than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This means that the new Pro Max model starts at least $1099.

It’s not surprising that Apple is adapting to the effects of high inflation. But Apple will try to justify the price increase. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be the highest performing iPhone 14 models available this year. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus/Max will correspond to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. But they will lack a rear-mounted telephoto lens.

At the same time, TheGalox_ released specifications for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus/Max. According to him, the iPhone 14 will start at $799, while the 6.7-inch model will cost $899.

Overall, with the launch of the cheaper 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus/Max, Apple will raise the average price of the iPhone, which will replace the previous mini model. That’s because the cheapest new iPhone in Apple’s lineup will be the 6.1-inch iPhone 14. Previous price leaks say the phone will cost $799, just like its predecessors. But the 6.7-inch will start at $899, replacing the Mini’s $699 price point.

However, none of these messages came from the authorities. Apple won’t confirm prices before the launch in mid-September.
